I’m Megan and as a mom and piano teacher I have the immense pleasure of witnessing the multitude of benefits that young children experience through music every single day.
When I became a parent, I suddenly realized that music education can’t begin when a child starts school. I wanted my own children to experience the wonderful benefits of music that I saw my piano students achieving in their piano lessons.
Babies, toddlers and preschoolers are natural little musicians and nurturing their curiosity and love for music from the beginning will set them up for success in school, in future music lessons and in life.
I love collecting simple songs, engaging activities and helpful resources to show parents and teachers of preschoolers how easy it is to share music with young children. You don’t have to be a professional musician or have any special training to make music with young children. Stick around and I’ll share with you all of my best tricks, tips and resources for setting kids up for lifelong success with music.
