Are you looking for fun transportation-themed musical activity for your preschool students?
I have an entertaining piggy-back song that gets the kids moving and singing! Children can use their hands and arms for this activity, or if you’re up for a little adventure, you can give them paper or toy planes to hold while they join in.
This activity can be found in my “Airplane Theme” Lesson Plan. This lesson plan is 1 of 4 in my new transportation lesson plan bundle!

The motions are very simple: To fly, extend hands and rock back and forth. Tilt to one side, then the other. To land, bend over forward to make a landing.
Here are the lyrics:
I’m an airplane, I’m an airplane
Flying high, flying high
I can tilt this way, I can tilt this way
In the sky, in the sky
I’m an airplane, I’m an airplane
Flying high, flying high
I can make a landing, I can make a landing
From the sky, from the sky
