I’ve got another free sing-along action song to teach your preschoolers this Fall! This song can be found in my Apple-themed lesson plan, but you can use this action-based song anytime in the Fall.
Your students will love it!
Two Big Apples is a piggyback song of “This Old Man.”
Two Big Apples can work great as a simple sing-along song, but it is also a good one for the kids to act out. Find two small red balls or other objects to represent apples. Red scarves will also work. Students can take turns pretending to be the tree and holding the apples high above their heads. They can wiggle when the tree shakes, then drop the apples to the ground.
Here are the lyrics:
Way up high in a tree, two big apples smiled at me
So I shook that tree as hard as hard as I could!
Down came the apples, mm, mm, good!
