Splashing in the Puddles is a simple little sing-along song that is great for preschoolers.
Here are the lyrics:
Splashing in the puddles,
Splashing in the puddles,
Splashing in the puddles,
But don’t let mommy see!
This is a fun song to add motions to and let preschoolers pretend to splash in puddles with their hands or feet as they sing.
You could also replace the word splashing with other actions words just as jumping, stomping or twirling.
I use this song in both my water-themed and Pete The Cat lesson plans.
