I love creating fun and interactive lesson plans for movement-based preschool music classes!
My newest lesson plan is perfect for Thanksgiving classes and features tons of turkey tunes, references to favorite Thanksgiving foods and reminders to celebrate our gratitude.
As usual with my lesson plans, I make a point to alternate between high-energy activities and calmer, more focused activities.
This lesson plan includes 10 activities that could easily fill a 30 minute class. Of course, you can adapt it to accommodate your own situation by repeating some songs or stretching them out longer, cutting out activities, rearranging the order of activities or supplementing with your own ideas.
This lesson plan was designed to minimize work on your part. There are no complicated songs to learn. Most songs to sing are to the tune of familiar melodies. There is a short list of materials needed such as egg shakers or other percussive instruments. And, it includes a playlist of pre-recorded songs that are easy to track down on Amazon Music, Spotify or your favorite streaming service.
You can find this lesson plan over in my TeachersPayTeachers shop.
