This winter-themed preschool music lesson plan captures all of the best parts of winter – snow, snowmen, penguins, hot chocolate and even hibernating bears.

This lesson plan was designed for a movement-based preschool music class. The goal is to help kids fall in love with music and to help them achieve developmental milestones that will set them up for success.
I specifically chose songs and activities that would minimize work on your part. The songs and lyrics are simple and mostly use familiar piggyback tunes. There is a short list of materials needed such as egg shakers or another small percussion instrument and scarves.
The lesson plan includes 11 activities that can easily fill a 30-minute music class. Of course, you can rearrange or substitute activities to suit your own situation.
The full winter-themed lesson plan is available in my TeachersPayTeacher store.
