Paul Is Here Today is a favorite and simple Hello Song that I often use in my preschool music classes.

Paul Is Here Today is sung to the tune of The Farmer In The Dell. Each time you sing it, you can use the name of a different child in the class until all of the students have been greeted.
Here are the lyrics:
Paul is here today, Paul is here today,
Let’s give a cheer, let’s give a cheer,
‘Cause Paul is here today!”
At the end of each verse, I always have my class cheer for each student by shouting “hooray” and waving their hands in the air. It’s a fun and welcoming way to start the class.
