Are you looking for fun musical activity that get’s the kids working on both fine and gross motor skills?

This activity can be found in my “The Napping House” Lesson Plan, one of many lesson plans I’ve made that have musical activities that focus around a classic storybook for children. The Pajama Pokey is a fun spinoff of the Hokey Pokey!

Tell your class to imagine they are wearing their favorite PJ’s for this one.

Or, if your feeling ambitious, bring in various bedtime props (stuffed animals, slippers, toothbrushes) for them to use.
