I’d like to share with you a fun and easy St. Patrick’s Day sing-along song to teach preschoolers. This song can be found in my St. Patrick’s Day lesson plan, but you could also use this for an Ireland themed lesson plan. If your children are not wearing green, you can simply adapt the words to other colors.
If You’re Wearing Green Today is a piggyback song of If You’re Happy and You Know It.

If you’re wearing green today, dance a jig and smile and say:
Have a very happy St. Patrick’s day!
If all the children are wearing green they can dance together. If you change the words to different colors, they can take turns dancing. Be sure to include everyone.
