Today I’m sharing an easy sing-along song to teach preschoolers. I use this song in my patriotic lesson plan, but this is definitely a great song to sing any time with preschoolers.
The Red, White and Blue is a piggyback song of When The Saints Go Marching In.
Here are the lyrics:
Oh, when the flag comes marching in,

How I love to see its three colors,
The red, white, and blue.
There are so many movement activities that you could do with this song. Kids could wave small American flags while they sing. Or, you could have one larger American flag that a leader could wave and march with. You could even make a little parade and march in a line as you sing this.
