Pre-K and Kindergarten teachers, are you looking for a fun and easy rhyme about bees this Spring? This one includes fun hand motions that your students will love!
Bees are so important and are totally worth celebrating with your preschool class! In addition to producing honey, bees play a vital role in pollinating many of the plants and vegetables that we eat. Let’s celebrate these amazing creatures!
This song can be found in my Beehive Storybook lesson plan based on the children’s book “Beehive” by Jorey Hurley
This rhyme is easy to chant and has simple hand motions that your kids will love to do!
Here are the lyrics for the rhyme:
Here is the beehive (hold hands into a ball)
but where are the bees?
Hidden away where nobody sees
Watch and you’ll see them come out of the hive
1, 2, 3, 4, 5… (count with your fingers) They’re alive!
Buzzzzzzz (wiggle fingers around like the bees are flying out of the hive)
